Peter B. Schneider

Mr. Schneider was born on May 6, 1968 in N.Y., NY His father was a military officer and the family quickly moved to Dallas where Mr. Schneider grew up. Upon graduation from his high school class, where he was president of a student body of more than 2000 students, Mr. Schneider set his sights on California. In 1986 Mr. Schneider began his undergraduate studies at the University of The Pacific in Stockton, California. An avid tennis player at the time, Mr. Schneider played for the school’s PCAA division team for all four years he attended the University. Upon receiving his degree in Political Science and scoring in the top 1% nationwide on the law school aptitude test (LSAT), Mr. Schneider was offered a position teaching undergraduate students on the Harvard campus in Cambridge, Ma. After teaching and living in Boston for one year, Mr. Schneider began his legal Studies at South Texas College of Law in Houston Texas. During his law school tenure, Mr. Schneider was extremely successful in the Schools moot court and mock trial programs. In fact, he has since coached, taught and judged in both programs at the school. Mr. Schneider’s legal career began during law school as he worked at law firms or with Judges full time during school. Mr. Schneider received his law degree in 1994 and has been actively practicing ever since. In 1996 Mr. Schneider co-founded the law firm of Grady Schneider & Newman, L.L.P. now Grady-Schneider. Since the firm’s inception, Mr. Schneider has been trying and winning cases for his clients. He has tried multiple cases in state and federal court with an unparalleled track record (see representative cases) Mr. Schneider has appeared before the Supreme Court of Texas. Mr. Schneider is licensed in all Texas County Courts, District Courts, Courts of Appeals, and The Texas Supreme Court. Mr. Schneider is also licensed in Federal Court for the Southern District of Texas, the Eastern District of Texas, the Western District of Texas, the District of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. Mr. Schneider is married to Dr. Julie Schneider who is a practicing pediatrician. They have been married for 15 years and have three children. Mr. Schneider and his family are active in many charitable causes throughout Houston and beyond.
