PERSONAL INJURY AND WRONGFUL DEATH

Chemical Company Plant Explosion

While standing on scaffolding, our client was struck in the head with a pump truck hose and fell from the work surface. He suffered severe and irreparable head injuries that rendered him totally and permanently disabled.

This lawsuit arose out of severe and permanent injuries sustained by the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff was working as a welder on an oil field production site when an employee negligently maneuvered a Forklift in such a manner that it knocked over a transformer, causing it to fall, striking the Plaintiff on the head, knocking him unconscious and severely injuring him.

While shopping for golf carts, our client was seriously injured when she was asked to sit in a vehicle that was driven away while she was attempting to sit in it.

Defendant, an underage driver, rolled her parent's truck on a ranch injuring the Plaintiff's arm.

The defendant stepped on his accelerator instead of his brake thereby driving his car through a barber shop window and striking the Plaintiff.

Plaintiff's motorcycle struck a discarded railroad tie.

BREACH OF CONTRACT/ INVESTMENT FRAUD

Hurricane Insurance Claims

Our clients suffered property damage from the hurricanes and were unable to resolve their claims with their insurance company.

Investor Fraud

A series of investors in and around the Houston area purchased ownership interest in multiple medical facilities and were denied their profits.

State Retirement Fund

Plaintiff's funds selected by its brokers were not prudently selected and properly diversified so as to minimize the risk of large loses. Defendants represented and agreed that they ratified and would always adhere to a master investment policy. Plaintiff sustained damages as a result of the Defendants' breach of contract, common-law and statutory fraud, and negligent conduct.

Contractor Litigation

Plaintiff contractor performed drywall work in a famous Houston landmark. Defendant denied full payment.

Result: In Excess of $800,000

Contractor Litigation

Plaintiffs built multiple business locations for defendant. Defendant failed to pay in full.

Result: In Excess of $500,000

Real-Estate Breach of Contract

Plaintiff was a member of a partnership and distinguished himself as an exemplary broker and garnered numerous awards and distinctions along the way. Plaintiff alleged and contended that after the breakup of the partnership the Defendants engaged in conduct that caused him harm. Plaintiff was forced to bring the action to collect a legal debt of money for damages he sustained.

Result: In Excess of $500,000

Employment

Fair Labor Standards Act Class Action

Plaintiffs were misclassified pursuant to the fair labor standards act and were therefore entitled to their overtime pay.

Result: In Excess of $5 Million
